Are we double-talkers as a society? We often hear people commenting on how someone should have gotten help if they needed it. However, people negatively comment when people say they need help or do not all.
On the other hand, recently, Megan Merkle interviewed Oprah, in which she touched on mental health. According to Meghan and Harry, they reached out to "the institution" to receive help. Still, it appeared that "the institution" was too worried about appearance than their members' mental stability.
Are we the same? Do we worry so much about what labels we will gain to avoid the help needed? Our mental health is important and understanding, that as we take care of our children, our bodies and mind need attention.
We all have a journey, and some people need help in getting through that difficult time, so please let's show compassion and not judge. It's never too late to seek help, don't be ashamed to take care of every part of you, and that includes your mental health.
Until next time Mom Tribe, stay well.
