Why Moms you are NOT getting the help they NEED!

I recall someone praying to God because their boat had a hole in it. There were three different occasions on which rescue came along. However, the person kept denying the recovery looking for something bigger and better.

As Moms, it is undeniable that we need help, and the feeling of an unbalanced workload is evident in our homes. But are we denying support from our spouses and loved ones because it's not up to our standards?

I remember having a routine on how and what I did during bathtime with my kids. However, I would pretty much take over after asking my husband for help. I would often complain about the lotion not being massaged into her little thighs rather than the sloppy rub he was giving her.

Even to this day, when I fold, and he puts all the clothes in the wrong drawers every single time. Or maybe when he changes the toilet tissue rolls and places it on the holder under rather than over, you know the RIGHT way! You get the hint, and as Moms, we can go on and on about what they don't do right.

But honestly, ask yourself, is it that serious? Does it matter? He has his routine, but it doesn't make it wrong. That's just the way he does things. We, as Moms, take over, and then we feel burned out and tired and overworked.

Could we be doing this to ourselves? Yep, I think so! So the next time when help presents itself, don't complain about how the support has come. Just be thankful that help has arrived, and use that time to focus on you.
