Focus on the step in front of you and not the whole staircase. - Unknown
It can be so overwhelming for us to focus on the entire task that needs to be done. But if we focus on one task, we will have completed that obstacle in no time, one step at a time.
I remember when my two older girls were younger. They would play and make this huge mess, only to feel sad and overwhelmed in cleaning it up. I usually had to provide them step-by-step instructions on what to tackle first. It helped them realize that they were not alone and to break things up into smaller tasks.

I use the same concept today, and it works like a charm. So the next time you have a big task that you are not mentally prepared for, no worries, break that task up, and it will relieve the anxiety and stress you once felt.
Until next time Mom Tribe, stay well!
