Where did worrying about the happiness of others' get me?

Don't worry about the people who aren't happy for you. They probably aren't happy for themselves either.

Sometimes we are so focused on people who are not happy with our success that it brings us down. Have you ever met a person that it does not matter what you do, they are not impressed?  Honey, you can win a Nobel Peace Prize or maybe even be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Just like Gorilla Girls' hair, they won't move. (LOL)

But have you ever just thought that maybe they are not happy or impressed with their own lives either.  As much as we do not want to admit it, we want validation, especially from people we truly respect.

Think about the time in which we wanted that validation from our parents about the boy we were dating.  We only wanted that because we respected their relationship or their opinion.  

But there will be times when we do not get the validation we want from others, but know this has nothing to do with us and everything to do with their own lack of happiness.
