Are you really ready to SOAR?
Sometimes you have to move on without certain people. If they're meant to be in your life they'll catch up. - Mandy Hale
I am a person that does not take the word friend lightly, and honestly, it's not thrown around to people that are undeserving of this title. It takes so much for me to open up to people, but when I do, you can guarantee that I will be there until the end of time for you.
My best friend since Middle School, we did everything together, and earlier on in our relationship, she inspired me to be a better person. But we started to drift apart, as her dreams and goals become stagnate as mine began to soar.
I encouraged her and cheered her on to be the best she could be and do better, but soon realized that she had to make up in her mind to want great things for herself. So I had to let the relationship go because I realized that not only did her actions hold her back, but her words tried to stagnate me.
So I hope that I will get my friend back one day soon, and we will both soar through the skies of success together. But until then, I'll keep soaring alone and sending encouragement her way, and hopefully, one day, we will meet again.
