Sometimes in our lives, we focus on speed over everything else.. We place so much pressure on being the first to finish.  But we should stop to think, where am I going and where am I trying to go?

As my kids entered college and made bad choices that resulted in failed classes, my advice was to keep going.  There may be kids that finish faster, but the real goal should be to finish.  There are so many bumps in the road of life that may slow us down.  These bumps may get in our way to not completing our goals in the timeframe that we have set for ourselves.

But as long as we keep our eye on the prize and keep moving, eventually, we will reach our destination.  Because of those bumps, getting to the finish line for you will mean more, I assure you.

So until next time, mom tribe, forget about speed and make sure you are set to arrive at your final destination.
