When you start seeing your worth, you'll find it harder to stay around people who don't. - UNKNOWN
Have you ever thought, why did I even hang out with this person? Or I can't believe I was friends with that person? I can't believe I dated him! This could be because you have begun to see your worth. Not that you are better than that person. But you have moved past that way of thinking or that thought process.
We often want to keep these individuals around because of guilt or make us feel better about our growth. I had a best friend that I had to let go of when we were growing up. She was my everything. I wanted to be just like her, and I loved the qualities that she possessed.
But I realized she forgot her worth and began to settle for whatever life threw her way. I tried to bring her up but realized it had to be her choice. So I decided to let her go, not because I didn't love her, but because I have finally seen my worth, and it wasn't easy to be around someone that also did not see her worth.
Until Next Time Mom, you are worthy.
