Buried or just Planted?

Sometimes when you're in a dark place, you tend to think you've been buried; what if you've been planted? - Christine Caine

The darkest moments of our lives appear to be the loneliest.  It's the times in which we feel like no one else can relate and that we are the only ones on this "journey. Sometimes it can seem like the dark moments take forever to provide some light.

I recall being terribly mistreated and harrassed at one of my jobs.  I cried every day for over a year and a half. I started having panic and anxiety attacks when I went to work. It was horrible.

Although the intense pain was almost at times unbearable, I made it through by the grace of God.  At times I felt like my sanity was on the line.  But I knew that this experience was preparing me for another journey—a better job with a positive culture and team.

So the next time you think you are buried, remember you are being planted, and one day there will be a beautiful flower and story that will emerge from that dark place.

Until Next Time Mom Tribe,  stay positive!
