Stop using who you've always been as an excuse to become who you were meant to be. ~Rigel J. Dawson
We all get it, change is difficult and forces us to come out of our comfort zone, and we don't like that. Staying in our comfort zone feels safe, and it allows for predictability.
I am a very private, private person, the type of person that you could sit next to for years at work and not know that I am married or that I have kids. So when I started my company to uplift other moms throughout their journey, I had to come out of my comfort zone.
It was not easy to be vulnerable and feel like I was losing my sense of privacy. But it was important to keep the end goal in mind. Every day I choose to be vulnerable and not to make an excuse to go back.
But when you stop making excuses, you walk into your greatness. It won't be easy. You will want to quit, and sometimes you will feel defeated, but it will be all worth it in the end.
Until Next Time Mom Tribe, start the journey to becoming who you were meant to be.
