Are you DONE?

Sometimes you have to be done. Not mad, not upset, just done. _UNKNOWN

As a mom, your kids will take you through a whirlwind of emotions throughout parenting.  There will be ups and downs, happiness and tears of sadness that you will have to face.  

But there also comes a time when you have to allow your kids to make their own decisions. Even though its, not the right choice, you have to sit by as they potentially make choices that will ruin their lives.  

Sometimes the choices will lead them to a path that is reversible with little damage, and sometimes it is irreversible with lots of damage.  The hardest part is sitting back and watching it all unfold after you pleaded with them to make better choices.

  So I had to learn to be silent while still letting them know I was there for support.  I had to forgive them for carving out a life that I didn't carve out in my head.  I had to stop being mad because they refused to be successful in life and make better choices.  I couldn't be upset anymore. I had to be done.
