Sometimes it's hard for us to believe in this society that some things are not for us. I remember there was a job that I really wanted.  The hiring manager worked with me previously and worked with me outside of working hours to prep me for the interview with her manager.

During the interview, I flopped, but was still called back for the second and third rounds and flopped again.  I was devastated that I didn't get that job.  I cried and was so upset with the results.  A few months after, I saw the same lady I interviewed with, she was in town for a conference.  During our conversation, I asked how the department was doing and she informed me that the entire department was eliminated a few weeks after the interview.

Sometimes we make a big deal and throw tantrums when something does not work out, not realizing we were being saved from opening the wrong door.

So when the door doesn't open, don't throw a fit, be thankful as that just wasn't your door to open.
